A prolific leader. Devoted dad. And world-class skier.

A prolific leader, devoted dad, and world-class skier.

For anyone who knows Marko Njavro, it’s no surprise that he’s able to navigate tight turns, get things done fast and lead Molson Coors Croatia, Bosnia and Slovenia to victory-after-victory as our Managing Director. He gained that ability and agility by being the Croatian National Champion in Slalom and capturing a medal in the Argentinian Open Championship.

Putting that experience to work today. Out on the international skiing circuit, Marko learned to compete yet treat everyone with respect and do things the right way. Throughout, he challenged the expected constantly, including course conditions and Mother Nature. Like his skis, those skills align perfectly with the people culture at Molson Coors and help improve his day-to-day performance.

Finding that perfect work/life balance. While Marko no longer competes professionally, he’s still an avid skier. Last season alone, he hit the slopes on three different continents–Europe, Asia and North America. He also thinks that his time off makes him even more productive. The other leaders here agree.

Skiing now takes second place. Marko’s new passion is hanging out with his wife and his beyond-cute two-year-old daughter Karla. He can’t wait to introduce her to his first love and explore the mountains with her.

“Skiing pushes you to explore new countries, resorts and peaks. And there’s nothing better than having one of our beers on the top of the mountain.”
