Molson Canadian Rocks Presents Rockanagan 2007: Thirty Bands in Five Venues Over Two Days

KELOWNA, BRITTISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Aug. 7, 2007) - Molson Canadian is excited to announce that it has partnered with Rockanagan '07 as title sponsor of the two day event which will rock Kelowna on September 28 and 29.

Rockanagan '07 is a mu sic festival which promotes up-and-coming bands. The event will feature over thirty acts from the Valley, Vancouver and Calgary in five venues located in Kelowna's downtown core: The Fintry Queen, Doc Willoughby's, Sturgeon Hall, O'Flannigan's and The Grateful Fed.

"We are really excited to bring this event to our beer drinkers in Kelowna," said Matt Johnston, Molson Field Marketing. "With Molson Canadian Rocks on board we continue to engage our consumers by giving them access to amazing live music experiences."

In its inaugural year, Rockanagan '07 is modeled after Canadian Music Week which takes place each year in Toronto and the Nu West Music Festival which occurs yearly in Vancouver.

"We're extremely pleased to have Molson Canadian on board," said Rockanagan organizer Ryan Abougoush. "Their support will go a long way in making this inaugural year a big success."

Tickets for Rockanagan '07 are on sale now at Revolver and Wentworth Music, and at all five venues participating in the festival. Tickets are $25.00 and include access to all five venues for the two nights. Due to capacity, tickets are limited.
