David P. O’Brien Mr. O’Brien was a director of Molson Inc. from 2002 to 2005, where he also served as a member of the human resources and pension fund committee and the corporate governance committee during his tenure. Mr. O’Brien has been the chairman of the board of directors of the Royal Bank of Canada since February 2004, and chairman of the board of directors of EnCana Corporation since April 2002. He has also served as chairman of the board of directors and chief executive officer of PanCanadian Energy Corporation and prior to that served as chairman of PanCanadian for a decade. His experience also includes being chairman of the board of directors, president and chief executive officer of Canadian Pacific Limited. He is a director of Inco Limited, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Transcanada Pipelines Limited and the C.D. Howe Institute, a research and educational institution.
