Wellness and Safety
We recognize that wellness and safety of our employees is fundamental to their engagement. We are actively working to build a workplace culture that embraces wellness and safety. They are part of our overall Quality, Environment, Health & Safety Policy, driven by a proactive approach at all levels of the organization.
We promote healthy lifestyles among our employees in all of our markets. While specific programs vary by country and geographic location, our programs include: fully equipped fitness centers, diagnostic testing and risk assessments, tailored health improvement programs and extensive medical insurance including coverage of preventative care.
Our commitment also involves a systematic approach to safety, beginning with awareness, moving through compliance, and ach ieving full and active involvement at all levels of the organization. In addition, we actively seek independent third party recognition for our programs from, for example, the OSHA Voluntary Protection Program in the UK and OSHAS Certification in the UK, which provides a disciplined, managed approach to safety.
We are encouraged by our safety statistics in the past year and work towards continual improvements. We are establishing a suite of performance measures include ‘leading’ safety indicators such as employee awareness and involvement. We’re tracking and reporting our performance against these measures.
