Zagrebačka pivovara was founded in 1892. "Ožujsko" comes from the Croatian word for March, the last month one could chill and ferment beer. Today, drinkers consume Ožujsko throughout the year, chilled to a perfect "March" 5 degrees. Ožujsko is golden in colour, with a pleasant bitter aroma and compact foam.
