Molson Coors employees are champions of beer and authentic ambassadors of our brands. Raising a glass to all beer moments is something we are uniquely qualified to do, making a big impact on our products and supporting the business through survey feedback, tasting panel opportunities and in-depth internal focus groups.

You read that right – as a Molson Coors employee, you can raise your hand to taste our delicious beverage offerings as part of your day job! While this is an obvious perk of the role, it’s much more than just telling us if a beverage is good or not. Volunteer sensory panelists are required to attend a variety of training programs to ensure they can identify 36 different taste attributes from bitterness, sweetness and body to defects like stale, papery notes or sulfur compounds. Sensory volunteers also need to have strong sniffers – while there are only five basic tastes, there are thousands of aroma compounds!

With all of the testing, tasting and smelling that happens within the walls of Molson Coors, we want to be absolutely certain that everyone can enjoy our beverages. That starts with creating intentional spaces where everyone is welcome at the bar. For many, something as simple as ordering a drink at the bar can be a challenge when counters are too high to be seen or served. That’s why the Molson Coors Disabilities United BRG has worked with our internal and external teams to rethink the design of bar spaces to include lower bar heights, making them more accessible for consumers with disabilities. By lowering the bar, our teams are quite literally, raising the standard. You can find this bar height standard incorporated in our Chicago office pub and in select stadium branded spaces across the country.
